Day01

Arrive in Pokhara – Relax, Explore & Meet Your Trek Group

Welcome to Pokhara, the starting point of your Annapurna Base Camp Trek! Today is all about settling in and getting ready for the adventure ahead.

Check in to your hotel, freshen up and take some time to explore Lakeside. You can enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Phewa Lake or pick up any last-minute trekking essentials. Later, meet your trek leader and fellow trekkers for a quick briefing about the journey.

Spend the evening enjoying good food and Pokhara's lakeside vibes. Tomorrow, the mountains are calling!

Day02

Pokhara to Ghandruk – Your First Taste of the Himalayas

After breakfast, we'll leave Pokhara and drive towards Ghandruk, a beautiful mountain village in Nepal's Annapurna region.

The journey itself is a treat, with lovely mountain views along the way. If the weather is clear, you might catch glimpses of the Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu. Once we reach Ghandruk, we'll settle in and soak up the peaceful village atmosphere.

And the views? Machhapuchhre, also known as Fishtail Mountain, and the surrounding Annapurna peaks make a pretty unforgettable welcome.

Day03

Ghandruk to Chhomrong – Through Mountain Villages & Forest Trails

Time to lace up those trekking shoes! Today, we begin our trek towards Chhomrong, one of the key villages on the Annapurna Base Camp route.

We'll walk through traditional mountain settlements, enjoy beautiful views of Annapurna and Machhapuchhre, and make our way across the trails and bridges over Komrong Khola and Kimrong Khola.

There'll be plenty of ups and downs, so take your time and enjoy the journey. By the time we reach Chhomrong, you'll understand why this village is such a favourite stop for trekkers heading towards Annapurna Base Camp.

Day04

Chhomrong to Upper Sinuwa – Stone Steps & Forest Trails

Today's trail is short, but don't let the distance fool you. The Annapurna region has a way of making even a few kilometres interesting!

We'll descend from Chhomrong towards Chhomrong Khola and then climb back up through Lower Sinuwa to Upper Sinuwa. Expect plenty of stone steps, uphill walking and beautiful forest surroundings.

It's one of those days when your legs do most of the talking. Take regular breaks, keep yourself hydrated and enjoy the slower pace of mountain life.

Day05

Upper Sinuwa to Himalaya – Bamboo Forests & Beautiful Waterfalls

Today, we head deeper into the Annapurna Sanctuary, walking through lovely forests filled with bamboo, rhododendrons and the sound of flowing streams.

We'll pass through Bamboo, a popular resting stop along the Annapurna Base Camp trekking route, where we'll take a break for lunch. Along the way, look out for waterfalls and the beautiful 108 Dhara waterfall section.

As we continue towards Himalaya, the surroundings start feeling more remote and the mountains begin to take centre stage. By evening, we'll reach our stay, tired but happy, with another beautiful day behind us.

Day06

Himalaya to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) – Into the High Mountains

This is where the landscape really begins to change. As we leave Himalaya behind, the dense forests gradually give way to more open mountain terrain.

We'll pass Hinku Cave and Deurali before continuing towards Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC). The trail feels increasingly dramatic, with towering peaks and wide mountain views all around.

Once we reach MBC, take a moment to look around. You're now right beneath the magnificent Machhapuchhre, and Annapurna Base Camp is just around the corner.

We'll settle into our teahouse, enjoy some rest and get ready for tomorrow's big highlight.

Day07

Machhapuchhre Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp & Back to MBC

The day we've been waiting for!

We'll start early and make our way from Machhapuchhre Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp, right in the heart of Nepal's spectacular Annapurna Sanctuary.

As the sun rises, watch the mountains slowly light up around you. Annapurna I, Hiunchuli and Gangapurna create an incredible backdrop, with Machhapuchhre adding to the magic.

At Annapurna Base Camp, take your time. Click those photos, enjoy the views and celebrate making it to one of Nepal's most iconic trekking destinations.

Once we've soaked it all in, we'll head back down to MBC for a well-deserved meal and some rest. It's a day you'll probably be talking about long after the trek ends.

Day08

Machhapuchhre Base Camp to Bamboo – Walking Back Through the Mountains

After yesterday's big adventure, today is all about making our way back down.

We'll retrace our steps through Deurali and Himalaya, gradually leaving the high mountain landscape behind and returning to the greener forest trails of the Annapurna region.

The best part? Familiar trails can feel completely different when you're walking them in the opposite direction. Enjoy the waterfalls, mountain views and little moments along the way.

By the time we reach Bamboo, a warm meal and a comfortable night's rest will feel especially rewarding.

Day09

Bamboo to Chhomrong – One More Day on the Annapurna Trails

We're getting closer to Pokhara, but there's still some trekking to do!

Today's route takes us from Bamboo back to Chhomrong through forest trails, stone steps and a series of climbs and descents. Your legs might be feeling the miles by now, but the familiar mountain surroundings make the journey enjoyable in their own way.

Once we arrive in Chhomrong, we'll settle in, relax and enjoy our final evening in the mountain villages of the Annapurna region.

Take it easy tonight. You've come a long way!

Day10

Chhomrong to Pokhara – The Journey Back

It's our final day on the Annapurna Base Camp Trek.

We'll begin with the last stretch of our trek, heading towards the Jhinu area before continuing our journey back to Pokhara by vehicle, as planned.

As the mountains slowly disappear behind us, there's time to look back on everything we've experienced: the forest trails, the stone staircases, the little villages and, of course, the unforgettable views from Annapurna Base Camp.

We'll arrive in Pokhara with tired legs, full memory cards and plenty of stories to share.

And just like that, our 10-day Annapurna Base Camp adventure comes to an end.
